Almansa reservoir and Pétrola lagoon offer further opportunities to watch waterbirds in the surrounding area. Check access and current conditions before setting out. Respect restricted areas and watch from permitted viewpoints without approaching nests or disturbing birds.
Planning your birdwatching
We can provide information and guidance for your outing. Ask in advance about guides, observation equipment or hides, all on request and subject to availability. Bring comfortable footwear, water and sun protection; early morning and late afternoon are often more comfortable for exploring the countryside.
